A session always ends at minute 40 of the hour. If you arrive late, you can use the remaining time or wait for the next session.

First-time visitors

Can people who have never skated come to the rink?

Yes, you can. However, as there are no escorts or assisting staff during public sessions, we don’t recommend that children or adults who have never skated or don’t have enough experience join public sessions; our facility is not responsible for any sprains, injuries or damage that may occur. We also don’t allow young children who can’t skate onto the ice without an adult family member who can skate. We recommend that anyone skating for the first time, whatever their age, takes a private lesson with one of our instructors.

What is the minimum age for ice skating?

Children aged 4–5 who can walk and keep their balance can start ice skating. We have skates for children with shoe size 25 and up.

Lessons and courses

How do I book a private lesson?

Private lessons are one-to-one with an instructor, last 40 minutes and are open to everyone from age 4. Packages of 1, 3 (+1 free) and 5 (+3 free) lessons must be used within 60 days; lessons can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. To book, call us on 0549 440 81 81 or visit our facility.

Are lessons held during public sessions?

Private lessons are held during public session hours.

Can anyone join the group lessons?

Our group lessons have two groups: Learn to Skate course for ages 4–15 and the Adult course for ages 16 and up. Children who cannot skate at all first take private lessons; once our instructors confirm they have reached a certain level, they can join the Learn to Skate course. The Adult course is open to all levels.

On which days and at what times are your adult courses?

Our adult courses take place on Wednesdays and Fridays, 20:00–20:50. They are open to anyone aged 16 and over, at any level, and registration is always open. For details, see the Our services page.

There are two types of free lockers at our facility where you can keep your belongings. You can use the electronic lockers with the Kent Paten app, which you download to your phone. If you prefer not to use the app, you can use the standard lockers; no locks or keys are provided for these, so please bring and fit your own lock. Lockers not emptied by 22:30 each evening are opened by breaking the lock and emptied. Our facility is not responsible for lost belongings or for lost locks or keys.

Can I watch the skaters on the rink?

Our skates range from size 25 to 47. You can also come with your own skates.

Is protective gear provided?

Helmets, knee, elbow and wrist pads are free. Skate walkers and penguin aids can be rented for the session; prices are on our Our services page.
